OUR STORY
Kivo Motion was founded by Kurt Vogel, an award-winning sport scientist and strength and conditioning coach who has spent more than two decades working across over 20 different sports, from grassroots to professional and elite levels.
Throughout his career, Kurt has worked on fields, in gyms, and within university labs, helping athletes move better, perform better, and understand the science behind their success. He’s coached elite teams chasing small gains, supported athletes rebuilding after injury, and contributed to research pushing the limits of human performance.
After years at the intersection of coaching, science, and innovation, one truth became clear: one of the biggest barriers to performance isn’t effort, it’s access.
That belief inspired Kivo Motion; a company built to translate elite-level sport science into simple, accessible technology that empowers every athlete to understand and improve their performance.

Founder and CEO
Kurt
Kurt is a recognised leader in sport science and athlete performance, holding a Master of Exercise Science, a MBA in Leadership and Innovation and Masters of Research. He is one of only a select few ASCA Level 3 Master Coaches in Australia and an ESSA-accredited Sport Scientist.
His work has been acknowledged through multiple national awards, including ESSA Sport Scientist of the Year, ASCA Performance Development Coach of the Year, and the ASCA Bruce Walsh Award.

Nikita
Nikita is a commercial strategist with more than a decade of experience leading growth, investment, and innovation across sport, government, and technology. She has developed and executed commercial strategies, raised capital, and delivered partnerships for national and international organisations.
Her expertise strengthens Kivo Motion’s commercial direction, ensuring the company is market-ready, investor-aligned, and positioned for scalable growth.
